If you are playing in a match and you have to make just two putts to win the hole, use the two putts. It does not make any sense to charge the hole with your putt and leave a three or four foot putt as a comeback. Get your first putt close to the hole and leave yourself a short, flat putt to get the win. Do not lose focus of what you are trying to accomplish – winning the match.
