For right-handed golfers, the left-to-right putt is the most difficult. Most players miss this putt with the ball going on the right or low side of the hole. The reason for this miss is twofold. First, the golfer tends to line up directly toward the hole and play the putt without any break. Second, the golfer will allow for the break but fail to hit the ball with enough speed to keep it above the cup. To make these putts, select a spot on the high side of the hole that your ball must hit for it to drop into the cup. Focus on that spot and forget the hole.
